Instead of staying home on a weekend night, consider Modesto Downtown. Great scene for drinks, appetizers, dinner or hanging out with friends.
Last Friday night, I surprised my wife, Jeannie with a night downtown. Modesto has several treasure spots that make for a fun evening.
For example, we took Uber to our first stop, Camp 4 Wine Cafe (see link below). This place has gained quite a following, so I suggest you make reservations. What a cool vibe this place has garnered. The staff is fantastic and pay close attention to your needs. A large wine selection as well delicious appetizers for those, just wanting to socialize.
A brisk walk over to Tresetti’s World Cafe (see link below). Yum, Yum. Fantastic meal selection. Staff makes you feel welcomed. It’s not unusual for the Manager to stop by and say, “Hello and make sure you are enjoying your evening.” It was especially eventful, as the comedian, Ron White was enjoying his dinner across from us, prior to his show at the Gallo Center.
Well, why go home, when there’s a band playing across the street at the Barkin Dog Grill (see link below). First time walking into the Barkin Dog Grill. Staff was great. Music was fantastic and the food was enjoyable. Also, a downtown home feel.
So, instead of staying home, Take in Downtown Modesto this weekend!
