There’s a lot of talk lately, about Real Estate Market cooling throughout and around the Modesto area.
It’s not unusual for the real estate market to settle, this time of year. Children have now started school and sports programs, while parents get use to the daily grind, of trying to be everywhere at the same time.
Even with the pull back of home buyers due to all required activity, the average days on the market appears to be holding at 30.
With that said, Months of Inventory (properties on the market) have slightly increased to 2.1 months supply.
So what does that mean?
Even though some buyers have pulled back until settled, it would appear that more Sellers are putting their homes on the market.
What does that mean for the Home Buyer?
It means there’s more selection for the home buyer to choose from. Better opportunities to get your offer accepted. For serious buyers, this season could be prime time.
Is now a great time to buy if I’m a Home Buyer?
With slightly more inventory and with the Fed discussing raising interest rates, it’s a great time to buy a home.
